Well Kentucky played as ugly a first 14:59 as they’ve played all year against the nerds from Penn. The Cats’ shooting was terrible, their defense was uninspired and Penn’s Tyler Bernardini scored 16 points in the first half. The Cats were down 31-19, then they flipped the switch, decided they cared and went on 14-1 [...] So at every game they have snacks for the media. Now I don’t rightly consider myself media. I’m far too unprofessional, unpolished and unpaid for that, but I do get the media credentials for which I am extremely grateful. (I’m talking to you Dwayne Peevey.) Anyway, they have food, and sometimes it’s some pretty good [...] So I went to the Craft Center today hoping to learn a little about how this year’s team is looking and what we can expect from the Cats in the Frozen North which I hear has year round snow. I hope they packed jackets for when they get off the plane. Here’s what I learned today: Josh [...] For some reason I’m always interested in what happens to random players that had some association with Kentucky basketball. For example I regularly checked up on Bernard Cote at Northwestern. Turns out he didn’t really play any better there than he did here at UK.
